This page explains how we deliver your order, what it costs and how long it takes. It forms part of our Terms of Service.
Delivery within South Africa
We deliver across South Africa with The Courier Guy.
| Delivery fee | R150 per order |
| Free delivery | On orders of R1000 or more on finished products. Fabric is not included in free delivery. |
| Dispatch | Ready made items are dispatched within 1 to 2 working days of your payment clearing |
| Courier time | Usually 1 to 2 days after dispatch, depending on where you are |
Your delivery fee is shown at checkout before you pay.
Collect from our boutique
You can choose to collect your order from our boutique at checkout, free of charge. We will let you know when it is ready, usually within 24 hours.

International orders
Our online checkout delivers within South Africa only. We do ship worldwide with FedEx, so if you live outside South Africa, please contact us at info@fortheloveofsilk.co.za with the items you would like and your delivery address. We will send you a FedEx courier quote before you pay.
Import duties and taxes are set by the destination country and are payable by you.
Bespoke and custom orders
Bespoke scarves, custom prints and custom fabric are made to order. Production usually takes approximately two to three weeks once your artwork, sample and deposit are approved, and courier time is added after that. Your quotation sets out the timeline for your order.
Receiving your order
Someone needs to be available to accept the delivery. If the parcel is returned to us because nobody was available, we may charge the cost of sending it again.
Please check your parcel when it arrives. If anything is damaged, missing or incorrect, contact us as soon as you can. Our Returns and Refunds policy explains your options.
